Welcome to the Jubilee Players Website
Into drama? We are an amateur dramatic society (Amdram) based in Bierton near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Website Updates:

The Home Page was updated on the 11th November to bring news of an upcoming event by the Stewkley Players and to reveal the sad news that no more performances are planned for the Jubilee Players in 2018.

Note: This website is currently not 100% mobile platform friendly. If viewing this on a mobile phone or tablet, the drop down menus off the Gallery and Performance Reviews will not display. We hope to resolve this in 2019.

Upcoming Events

The Jubilee Players regret to inform that they will not be performing again before 2019. However, in support of fellow surrounding local amateur dramatic societies, we provide details of an upcoming event by the Stewkley Players

Please see details below

Jubilee Players 2017 Performance

Spring Play 2017 Pretzels for Dinner

On the 28th and 29th April, the Jubilee Players put on a performance of a play entitled Pretzels for Dinner. This was a bitter sweet comedy that saw a family, especially the down trodden wife and mother of two, come to terms with the death of their husband and father, Bill. He passed away during the fevered excitement of a horse race that he had a lot riding on.
However, his spirit lived on - humorously haunting the house but only seen and heard by his wife, Ann, until she felt she no longer needed him around.

Want to Get Involved?

We welcome new enthusiastic members for any role - on stage, back stage, front of house, back of house etc. We are particularly keen to recruit actors or actresses in their twenties or thirties. We also have no regular set designers or artists now on the company.

Please contact Kieron Stanger if you would like to get involved. Details are given in the Find and Contact Us page.
